FAQ
-
When should I bring an interior designer into my project?
The sooner, the better. Ideally, you should hire an interior designer once you’ve established your project goals, budget, and timeline. Involving NJID at the start allows us to coordinate seamlessly with your architect, contractor, or builder — saving you from expensive rework and ensuring design decisions are cohesive from the ground up.
-
How do I get started?
Simply fill out our Become a Client form to schedule a complimentary 15–30 minute discovery call. During this call, we’ll discuss your project in detail and outline next steps toward your in-person consultation.
-
Do you charge for consultations?

You’ll also have time for Q&A and leave with clear next steps.
